HOW LONG IS THE WAIT FOR A CUSTOM-BUILT ICE BATH?
Regarding timing, we do not hold extra stock of our chest freezer conversions. This is due to Australia experiencing a state wide import/export shortage on white goods. The estimated wait time on delivery to our workshop is 3-8 weeks. There have been many orders that come to us sooner than expected. Roughly 3 days or so from the date of deposit received. We aren’t notified until the day of delivery. Once it arrives at our workshop, it’s about a 2-4 day build turnaround time.

WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF A CUSTOM-BUILT ICE BATH?
Regarding dimensions:
300l dimensions:
– External without cladding: 1110mm long x 845mm high x 620mm wide.
– External with cladding: 1290mm long x 845mm high x 710mm wide.
– Internal: 980mm long x 470mm wide x 710mm deep.
500l dimensions:
– External without cladding: 1640mm long x 845mm high x 745mm wide.
– External with cladding: 1840mm long x 845mm high x 835mm wide.
– Internal: 1490mm long x 535mm wide x 690mm deep.
700l dimensions:
– External without cladding: 1860mm long x 845mm high x 830mm wide
– External with cladding: 2040mm long x 845mm high x 920mm wide
– Internal: 1710mm long x 845mm high x 680mm wide
All chest freezer size groups have dimensions that are equal within 20mm-30mm difference in size across all chest freezer brands.
Please note: Only your lower half of your body will be laying horizontal in a 500l or 700l chest freezer. The 300l chest freezers are more of a plunge tub in computer the 500l and 700l. The upper half of your body is vertical. So, your body will be completely submerged in all tub sizes.

IS IT NORMAL FOR MY CHEST FREEZER TO GET HOT?
Yes, it’s completely normal and there no need for concern 😊
Chest freezers are manufactured in such a way that all the heat built up from the pressure of the gas cooling lines, are extracted through the condensers that line the inside walls of the chest freezer. This means the heat is released through the thin metal external panelling, into the environment it is in. Rather than heating up the inside of the chest freezer. In a nutshell, when the chest freezer turns on to cool the inside of the unit. The heat that it generates is expelled through the external panelling. The same way your household fridge is hot to touch at the back corners and back panelling of the unit.
There’s no damage caused by this though and this only occurs when the chest freezer turns on to cool down the internal temperature.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY IF THE PRODUCT
* Ceases to carry the original manufacturers serial number, is sold at auction or sold as second hand;

* Is damaged by: improper installation; misuse, neglect, accidental damage or modifications; normal wear and tear;
* Failure to properly clean the product or any part;
* Failure to properly maintain and service the unit;

Regarding all other electrical conversion components, we offer a 1-year warranty.
Please note that each warranty will undergo an inspection to determine and ensure the appropriate replacement, repair or refund.
HOW DO I RE FILL MY ICE BATH CUSTOM BUILT ICE BATH CONVERSION SAFELY?
Regarding how to refill your ice bath after you have drained of turned off your unit.
You will need 20 bags of ice.
Here is the Arctic Ice Bath Conversion pre start process: After draining your tub free of water with all the power to your ice bath turned off.
1. Go to your orange RCD protection box and switch the power off to the pump filter and ozone generator.
2. Make sure the test trip switch is in the on position (up position).
3. Switch the power on to the automatic temperature controller. This will allow the chest freezer to re-pressurise.
4. Put 20cm of water in your tub before putting ice in the tub. This helps to not scratch/dent your tub.
5. Carefully put the ice into your tub. Once all the ice is in the tub, fill the tub up 10-20cm away from the top of your ice bath.
6. Once your tub has filled up with water to your desired level. Make sure your pump filter is fully submerged and turn it on.
7. Run your ozone generator for 55mins and turn it off once done.

HOW DO YOU SEAL THE ICE BATHS?
So, included in our three base packages, we use a premium sealant that is the only product you can acquire with a license for its use. This particular product is used in the construction of our Australian prisons, Boeing 737, and light submarines. It is the only product in Australia that not only has the highest strength and marine ratings but is also NSF certified to our Australian standards. This means that it is non-toxic and does not leach harmful chemicals into the ice bath water, unlike every other sealant used from your local Bunnings/hardware store that most, if not all, DIY ice bath builds have applied to them and inevitably leak, causing damage to the unit.
This is only one of the ways we offer a waterproof solution for our customers’ ice bath conversions! Feel free to send us a DM to receive a free quote form. WHAT SIZE TIMBER DO YOU USE?
Regarding our timber widths, we have 2x timber widths.
– 90mm (is included with our packages. This width is shown in the recent images.)
– 140mm (This is classed as an extra to be added to your order, as the size changes the cost of materials.)
PAYMENT
With regards to payment, it is a 50% non-refundable deposit and the remaining balance will need to be paid in cash on the day of delivery or pick up. The deposit is instantly used to purchase all materials, components and chest freezer unit that make up your custom order. After you provide the above quoting information, we will email it to you directly. From there you will be able to follow the payment instructions and place your order with your deposit.
HOW DO I CLEAN THE ICE BATH?
With regards to changing water, the pump filter will keep the water clean up to 3 months or so, before needing to change the water over if you follow our step-by-step maintenance and hygiene guidelines that are emailed to you upon delivery of your ice bath.
Ways to increase the cleanliness of the water are:
– Following our helpful setup/maintenance tips and tricks guidelines emailed to you on delivery or pick up day.
– Making sure you aren’t dirty/sweaty before getting in the ice bath.
– Adding your preferred cleaning solution i.e., chlorine, hydrogen peroxide, pool salt etc. Be sure to do your own research and used the most common and reviewed methods to help extend the waters cleanliness.
WHAT IS THE PUMP FILTRATION SYSTEM?
We have a quality pump filtration system that consists of the following components:
– Sanitation and ozone generator.
– Automatic WIFI temperature control unit.
– 6-1 pump filter.
These can be Integrated with our app controlled smart plug power timing/scheduling system, to increase energy efficiency. This item is listed in the extras section of your quote form. This all allows you to not have to change the water over until the 6–9-month mark. Our customers get access to our how to guide and tips list to aid in a hygienic and long lasting ice bath.
HOW DO I DRAIN THE ICE BATH?
With regards to drainage,
– The ice bath has a drainage plug at the bottom surface.
– Using a submersible pool draining pump connected to a garden hose, will allow you to drain the ice bath and water to a drain, your garden or house plants if you choose too. We also sell pumps drainage systems for your ice bath if you wish to purchase them.
– Handballing buckets of water is another option and adds to a spicy workout! Unfortunately, we do not sell buckets.
Our pump filtration system will give you a water life span between 6-9months before potentially needing to replace the water. However, each set up is different and depends on a wide variety of variables. I.e., how many people use the product, how long the product is used for. Etc. All our customers get a simple how to guide on how to increase your water’s life span even more!
HOW BIG IS THE TIMBER SURROUND?
The timber surrounding cladding is 19mm thick. In total the cladding will be 38mm off the chest freezer exterior. It will surround the 2x sides and front.
There will be 2x connectors that are attached as a timber strap to the back of the chest freezer. This holds the timber cladding surrounding tight to the chest freezer. The cladding surrounding is can be separated and removed with ease if needed. This is to allow efficient cleaning, maintenance and any future repair access to the chest freezer and its surrounding area.
HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY?
Regarding the cost of deliveries, for all custom conversion builds it is $250 to the metro area of Perth, WA. For rural deliveries, it is an added $100 per hour out of the Perth CBD. All interstate and international deliveries will be quoted specifically to your order upon completion of your quote form.
